About me
Hi, I go by CR here. That's okay for now.
I was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and today I call Frankfurt, Germany, home. I'm an immigrant in my late thirties, working a 9-to-5 in sustainability, navigating expat life, and stepping into the most humbling role I've ever known: becoming a father for the first time.
Why I Write
This blog began as a series of letters or journals to my son. Not instructions, not advice columns but just honest, tender words from a father who wanted to leave something behind. Something real.
I write about fatherhood and the quiet anxiety that comes with it. I write about raising a child far from the land where I was raised. I write about belonging to a country, a family, a version of yourself you're still figuring out. If you've ever felt the pull of two worlds at once, you'll find something familiar here.
